Official TNL Halo 2 Clan Thread

That way EvilMog could even have a separate team inside the TNL clan. You know, if he likes us enough.

That sounds really, really, really awesome. The best idea I've heard yet. But if it doesn't end up that way screw it, bottom line I just want to play with guys :D.

I don't want to come to any decisions on this until I see the game for myself.

Let's start with everyone in a single clan and then take it from there.

I definitely don't want to see multiple TNL clans, but if there is a way to denote separate "teams" or "subgroups" or whatever within a single clan, that'd be OK.

I think that's the way it would be Sleeveboy. It wouldn't be multiple TNL clans, it would be just small platoons inside the one big clan for those of us who play with same guys day in and day out. Some of us are a little tighter than just belonging to TNL and you've seen this for yourself because you played Pandora with us on quite a few occassions. I've been playing with the same guys from TNL for over a year now and it's gotten so tight we all buy the same games together now, and I'm sure there's other clicks in TNL just like us. This would make for fun thrash talking between all of us and talking shit to whom's group is the best :D .

I see where you're coming from, Brad. Unfortunately I think your situation is the exception to the rule. Most people who play XBL here on TNL don't really have a clique of people they play with constantly (or at least not from what I've seen on the online boards).

The idea here is to get everyone together in the same clan, not to have all the members break off into cliques. Otherwise we'll inevitably end up with a couple dominant cliques and a lot of stragglers -- people who don't necessarily play Halo 2 twelve hours a day, or even every night, but who still want to play with a solid core of friends.

The good thing about having one big TNL clan is that it solves both issues at once. I think the best way to accomplish what you're looking for is to start a separate 7th Column page on Bungie.net, and then join the big TNL clan.

Also, it's looking more and more like we should just pick The Next Level as our clan name and let people set up group pages on Bungie.net with their own "platoon" name.

It sounds like Rampant Fronting whupped that ass if you take the converts into consideration.

Sooo... what do I have to do to make sure I'm in this bee-otch? Do I need to go to Bungie.net and set something up, or are you guys just putting me in it?

Go to Bungie.net to join the clan. Then Mzo or Sleeve will let you in.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to sign up for the 7th column page if you want to be in, Korly. Just posting here is probably enough.
