Official TNL Halo 2 Clan Thread

I yelled "Quit Throwing Shit You Asshole" after killing you once Sleeve and someone yelled something back. It was funny.

A long day of little clan play has set us back to around 20th place. Tomorrow we have to make up for it a bit. I can be online uninterrupted from about 5:00 p.m. until bedtime.

We won one on Waterworks... let's keep it going.

Holy shit man, we've played 36 majors and won 23. Don't know how many ties v. losses but I think we have more ties than losses.

The team that passed us around lunchtime when we were still in 5th, Team Hebrew, has played 65 fucking matches. And won 50. Those guys need to take a vacation for a week.

Hey, do you run the same speed backwards as forwards? Becuase when you're making the flag run back to base, the bodyguards should face backwards. I see a lot of teams all facing the wrong way when they're running back, and they inevitably get picked off.

As for battle groups, Halo 2 only supports the creation of 1 clan. However, there are some useful tools provided on bungie.net that you could use to manage your battle groups. Specificaly, if each member of the clan signs in at bungie.net, they can create groups of the 4-8 men you were speaking about, each group with it's own webpage and private forum. You can even link your clan to the group. Hope that this helps.

Basically, if you want to make a 4 man team, get your own 7th column page and link it to the TNL clan. Online, you are a member of clan TNL. On 7th column, you'll have your own group, own forums, etc... and will be linked to TNL. Again, just ask us before jumping into any ranked matches.

Yawa, Hiro random and myself played two rounds of small matches tonight, non clan. As you can see the first round, which was Opaque takes the flag, went off without a hitch.

But damn was the assault game stupid. First we don't a plant a bomb the first round. I don't know why, it just kind of didn't happen. Then they somehow plant a bomb while me and Yawa fuck around breaking glass. Moral of the story? Don't play between teh hours of 3 and 6 in the morning.

If this has already been posted, sorry, this topic has just gotten too big for my laziness.

I'm a total noob at Halo 2, but I want to get better and do the clan thing. Should I make a topic so the other noobs and I can join up and make a subgroup within the clan? The last time I did the clan thing CS was something you had to download, not something you could buy, so its been a while, but I want to get back into the competitive FPS circuit. So, noobs looking for a subgroup?

Just get some/all of us on your friends list and jump into games. We play unranked matches all the damn time, and there's never a problem filling rooms.

Send me a friend invite and I'll send you a clan invite.

When you think you've got the hang of it, you can get into the ranked matches.
