Me and Cow met and played with some very good fellas. I sent the one guy a friend request early on, and I don't know if he didn't get it or if he thought I sucked but thanks to some of the matches I played with them like this one where I got 27 kills, 5 deaths, 27 medals and 12 headshots and this one where I had 18 kills, 0 deaths, 21 medals and 11 headshots, they no longer think I suck, and are willing to continue playing with me.
This is good news, since tonight I went from being a level 10 with no experience to a level 12 thats over half full. By tomorrow night I will be 13 or higher, joy.

The last 2 days I've solidified my reputation, I think. Because you guys all think I'm good but I wasn't too consistent until recently. Judging by our last matches though, as we get up near level 15 I'm going to have to improve again.

Me and Napalm Nick did have the greatest game ever earlier in Team Slayer. It was set up 3 v 3 at the beginning, and right when the match started me and Nicks teammate left leaving it 2 vs 3. The crazy thing is that it's not as hard to do as you think. I practiced on Split Screen and pulled off the "Opaque" trick on my first try. It was mindblowing when Opaque showed it to me during a custom game.
I have pictures of it that I will post as soon as my computers can load TNL again. I practiced last night and I can get the Ghost inside the base in under 20 seconds and I can get the warthog in, by myself, with a 60% success rate, With someone else it's about 90%.
Basically people, this is what we have: Boxes covering the front and back entrances pushed into possition with a Wraith. The back is now un enterable and for someone to get in the front they have to jump on the boxes and crouch walk in. Now, the Warthog is in the base on the back section postioned so that the turret can shoot up the ramp to the second floor and around the entire inside of the base. Meaning that if someone is on the ramp, by the flag or trying to crouch in through the front door they are dead in seconds. The ghost stays on the second floor in the hall between the banshee room and the main second floor area picking off guys as they come up the back ramp, which is, btw the only way to get to the second floor from outside the base (other than a banshee drop) since the box on the side was moved to cover a door. We now have a vehicles, inside the base, covering in close quarters everyway into the base. Two other guys patroling the base (me with a sniper rifle, and one other with a good dual combo) and it seem almost impossible to get in and out alive with the number of people we would encounter in a multiflag match.
In other news, I am now a 13 in Big Team Battle.

Seriously, I'm going to have a pretty stiff disadvantage when I get on with this thing. You guys better be online a lot to let me learn the maps (the key ingredient to playing well). Halo PC isn't cutting it as much these days, yesterday I had three games in a row where I made all the captures and had a kill/death ratio of 5:1 along with 12 assists at least.

My biggest problem is during several gametypes, like ctf fast, I charge right at the flag instead of taking a few crucial seconds to get a good weapon, and get pwned. 1v1 encounters I win easily if I have anything in addition to the basic smg. grr. Spawning into sniper shots, 3v1's, and right in front of ghosts is the most frustrating thing.

I have a question about territories and assault. I've read that when capturing a territory, you can claim it faster if your teammate(s) is(are) with you. If this is true, does the same apply when planting a bomb in assault? Is there a correlation with the speed of capture/plant and the number of people with you?

Im getting alittle tired of playing team objective games and trying to actually do the objective, and then have most of my teammates tell me to "shut up about the flag, I just want to kill people". Then why arent these people in the rumble pit or team slayer?
I think my favorite part of halo2 online is 2 flag CTF - it just captures everything i like about halo, especially on the vehicle heavy maps. Theyve made some cool additions to big team battle in the newest matching making update - stuff like 2 flag wraith ctf, which makes for some intense super crazy matches. But they just dont pop up enough or as frequently as ide like. It sucks having to suffer through sucky maps and gametypes like king of the hill on midship, when a 2 flag wraith ctf on bloodglutch is just so much fun.
so I played ace combat 4 pretty much all day, beat it straight through having to replay maybe 2 missions. Goddamn it was fun. The last mission was way too fucking easy though.
Okay, Halo 2. Probably won't see you tonight. But tomorrow I'm all over it.

What are your Halo 2 online schedules like? I know most of the group splintered off to play Wow, Half-Life 2, or hopscotch (god, I miss those 16-man TNL custom games), but for those who remained, when are you usually on?
I'm usually on 11 PM to 12 AM EST (sometimes 1 AM EST) weekdays. I have no set time on weekends, but it's usually around the same time.

On a related note, I've reached level 14 in both team skirmish and big team battle. My plans for right now are to get team slayer to 14 as well as minor clan match; then if someone see's any of your guys' names on their recent players list or friends page, it will show you as being a 14 even though you never did anything. I'm so nice.
You may have noticed I've stopped caring about Rumble Pit and Head to Head, this is for a very good reason: they are completely gay and almost entirely unfun. Playing without a single person you know is not the way to enjoy this game. I'm all about killing people, and I can win when I play those matches, but I want someone to talk to when I'm doing it.
Viewtiful Joe 2 has sucked up my Halo 2 time. That ends tonight.
