Yeah, but I bet that's just because he plays without his friends.Quote:

Sorry about the no-show last night. I got caught up with some work. I have an animation class later tonight, but if I'm not exhausted afterwards, I'll be on.
New name guys: Panda Stew. I'm finally burning out on WoW and I haven't played Halo 2 online in more than a week, so I'll be on late tonight and most likely tomorrow night.
It says the name was played on last night... I take it that was just your brother? Anyway, whichever one of you earned that 15 in team slayer should come play it with Chux, BrAnDX and myself.Quote:

Some people were talking about bungie reseting stats last night (I think as a joke) and I almost started crying.
BTW, you're only a 12, you suck.
I havent played in three months and I'm still higher ranked than Chux. I think he sucks, not meQuote:

So, I'm gonna put bitches on a war hell ride tonight.
Believe it.
What exactly is a war hell ride, and how can I purchase/build one?Quote:

Ready to roll.
anyone on to play ???????
WELL if anyone wants to play some games just send me a fr request, sayin where ur from and we can play some customs or whatever
Chux, Shin Myk, g0zen and myself just pwned some hiding bitches on Colossus. They were up by 7 when we got the sniper back with 3 minutes to go and they started hiding, I knew where they were but it took a little over a minute to move into a position where I could hit them. After I moved to the other side of the map and took out three of them, I started picking off spawners while Chux and the others did their thing. We ended up getting the 7 kills back in about a minute and finished with the win; it was delicous.
Your effort is futile. n00b!Quote:

Yes he's better than all of us, but he's not God or anything, those are just good shots mixed with luck.
So I was playing head-to-head with this jackass and he got all mad because I smoked him good and proper. He was cursing and calling me a n00b and saying he was going to rape my mother, and I was replying politely in voice of Jiggle Billy. He then demanded I be on later tonight so he could 'fuck me up 10 to nuffin' when he got a 'controller that wasn't so big'.
This was probably the funniest match of HALO 2 I've ever played.
He's a 7 after like 160 something rumble pit matches, and he has 2 wins. He sucks, and he won't ever be able to fuck you up 10 to nothing no matter what controller he uses.
In other fun news, I started fucking around a lot with sticks and sniper rifles in MLG matches after watching that video and I decided that I need to get some video capture system hooked up and I need to make a video. I already missed out on like four awesome things in the last few days that if I had been recording would have been awesome:
1. Double kill by double sticks on midship followed by the triple with a single headshot to the guy next to the second stick victim.
2. Stick on a guy behind the wall on the battle rifle tower on Lockout from the center square. I couldn't see him at all, i just knew where he was.
3. Killtacular in a big team battle by head shots using the human sniper rifle on Coagulation, literally the most you can do because reloading takes up enough time to break the combo.
4. Killtacular in a team slayer game in midship by shotguning the guy riding air lift with me, then landing and sticking one of two guys in the corner; I then shotgunned the non stuck guy from mid distance killing him and then right after that the fourth member of their team landed next to me (falling down from riding the air lift) and I shot him in the face.
The point is: does anyone know what I would need to do to start recording my Halo games on my PC?
Bungies new Weekly Update = teh gay. Just give us new maps and cheat fixes god damn't! GR2 just recieved a large update fixing tons of shit, and this isn't the first one. Why are you so slow Bungie?
Who do we have in the Rampant Fronting clan that actually shows up and can play with some decent measure?
Bidding my time well enough, I'd like to get some minor clanmatches going.
Allen
Me, Gosh Brand and Myk have been on a lot lately.
I fought the bar and the bar won.
Heh, that 'StK OGRE' guy died a LOT.Quote:

There's a video at Halo-Pro.com of Ogre getting 41 kills and no deaths during a game of MLG KOT on Lockout; it's against pros too.Quote:

Yeah, they talk about how he's "scared to go down" at one point, but really he's just smarter than that. The videos of him and his brother playing 2 v 2 are pretty crazy too once you figure out what they're doing; using the same TV and watching eachothers screens to double team people from across the map and know when people are heading towards them.

That quick weapon switch is even deadlier with the plasma pistol/BR combo.Quote:

Not really, it does the same exact thing, a fully charged shot will take down a sheild. The only reason it is more powerful is because there is no life bar after your sheilds go down, so it really only takes one shot with a Battle Rifle to the head to kill after you hit with the plasma pistol.Quote:

That video really wasn't that impressive. Anyone who knows what they're doing could probably rank up that many kills on a gametype in which people aren't worried about dying as much as controlling the Hill. You'll notice that OGRE may have had an awesome number of kills, but had little to no time actually doing any of the objective.
Thats what teams are for. Not eveyone can capture the flag, and if everyone tries, the opposition will have yours too. He's being a team player while showing off by not dying, notice how few deaths his team has too, I belive he's primarily responsible for that.Quote:

He would always position himself so he had a perfect shot at anyone who would have a chance at opposing anyone in the hill. On top of that, it's not like they weren't trying to kill him, because they were trying their best to kill him. Attempting to ambush 1 person with 3 people from 3 different directions works 99.9% of the time, but not in this video, he fended off numerous of those attacks getting double and triple kills all over the place.Quote:

What he was doing was essentially spawn camping in that he'd keep an eye on likely places the enemy would spawn and just murder them as they high-tailed it to the hill.Quote:

So, uh, I assume people are still playing this. Any way I can get in?
Here's the thing, he held down in essence 41 guys from ever reaching the hill, with him holding them back that much not only did the other team never touch the sniper rifle or thw sword (which greatly helps the guy holding down the hill) but it also ment the other the guys at the hill had less people to take on as they protected the area. It really was a very smart strategy, and his sniping might not be perfect, but it's better than anything any pf us could do, and I've seen other videos of his, he does do some crazy shit.Quote:

Dunno about Halo 2, but I'm a signifigantly better sniper. I agree otherwise, suppression/pin down is a good tactic in team play. There's also the psycological advantage - he becomes an issue despite being away from the hill. The opposition can't afford to disreguard him. I don't play team king often, usually just CTF, but I rarely go for flags unless the rest of the team isn't holding up thier end of the bargain. I will either pin the opposition down long enough to frustrate them then fall back and take them with me towards my base while the rest of my team gets their flag. It's a winning strategy each time. The only ace over that tactic is someone who can minimize my effectivness by takeing me as a priority. In that case, their best players are fighting me, not the rest of my team. I call it the Linebacker position. You don't score where it counts but you are the key to the team winnning.Quote:

You're doomed if you stay zoomed too long. If I can get you, it's atrition at your base which you may well win. It's then how good YOU are.Quote:

I'm not the kind of sniper that stays zoomed in for long periods of time. I basically stay out of zoom untill I see someone, and even then it only takes me half a second to kill them and get back out of zoom.Quote:

I'm pretty sure it auto adjusts both horizontal and vertical depending on what setting you have. Which is why it doesn't have a setting for both.Quote:

I figured, but I'd like to have the horizontal and vertical be equal, which looks impossible. Vertical sensitivity is always less, it seems.Quote:

My sentiments exactly, hilarity throughout and I don't believe we lost a match all night. Look forward to playing with you all again.
