We played a training game on Foundation and after we got the first bomb plant I used the barrels to get on top of the center of the map and I just held the bomb in contest up there for a while. The other team got pissed off, and one of their guys quit. After the round they told us it was good that we could cheat, since we couldn't do anything else. The funny part is, not only could we have easily planted it two more times on them, but what we did isn't cheating.
I can also do a thing called a "super bounce" to get on top of the base and zanzibar without using the shutters. I can hide up there with a bomb, or take a sniper rifle during CTF to prived cover fire as we steal the flag. From the top I can snipe the turret and any guys hiding on the opposite side of the wheel. It's deliscous.

Lame ass connection issues for me so I decided it was time for sleep. We should do some matchmaking one of these days, or even some clan matches just for shits, I think that would be enjoyable.
If I can figure out what I need on my own with the aid of some Best Buy or Frys monkey, I might be getting what I need to start video capture tomorrow. If this is the case, expect some major MLG games to start going down.

BTW, that jump on Zanzibar is easy as hell. It's actually useful too, unlike the coagulation one.
The Zanzibar jump is very easy once you learn how to do it. I'm going out to look for the video capture equipment now, wish me luck.

The device was 129.99 and hte cords were only like 10 bucks combined, I need to go back and get a second sound cord though.
Considering that I can make videos for anything that uses AV or S-Video, I'm pretty happy with the price.

From 2 rounds of MLG I already have 25 sticks to work with. I'm going to try and have a teaser video out this weekend, but we'll need to play more Sniper rounds and some CTF and Oddball rounds to get varied footage.

Theres a full round video of StK ogre 1 going 41 and 0 on Lockout at Halo-Pro.com, but other than that I've never really seen a full round video for Halo 2, just the first one.
Of course, I always could make a full round video of anything. What did you want to see?
I'm guessing Slayer is your forte so I wouldn't mind one of those. Ivory Tower is a favourite so seeing you tackle that one would be pretty nice.
And lately I've thinking of different strategies for the big team maps. I know that it's hard getting a solid game going there but just some well planed stuff that shows how pro's (dunno if you tend to play those with your clan) tackle it should be awesome.
I just played against some kids in Team Skirmish with Fries that after talking tons of trash, were down 1 bomb to zero, and realized they were completely out matched, cheated to TIE. Man I can't wait for a patch and new levels.

Guys, calm down. You're going to get all the maps for free. The only reason why the Expansion pack is being made in the first place is so that those who don't have Xbox Live can get the same maps and gameplay updates that we would get from downloading from Xbox Live. The $20 would cover the costs of creating the DVD cases and printing the DVDs.
Now I understand why it took them so long to make the updates. Since they were going to be selling the updates (in addition to offering them via Live), they were making damn well sure that what they were selling would work without the need for another update.
It's only a matter of time now before we revel in the new map goodness.
I just woke up and will go on record as saying that I actually dreamed about new maps and downloading them.
My problem with that is the fact that if Bungie thinks that this will be the end all be all of updates, they are mistaken. If Bungie wants to curb cheating they will have to consistantly release patches, because as we all know, people find a way to cheat no matter what.Quote:
