Who actually still plays this game? I'm just getting back into it after a LONG absence and never really see any rampant fronters online. I know a couple of you guys were on saturday night but can't remember who. Who still plays, and if so, when? I would really like to start playing this game seriously again.
I play all the time.
Side note: I'm one game away from getting my 29 in Skirmish after we won 1 Flag CTF on Terminal man down.
I'm on almost every day, since I have nothing better to do. Usually around 4pm Eastern on weekdays, and evenings on Saturdays and Sundays.
8-1 in Multi Ball on Ivory Tower. I got the most time with 2:20, least deaths and tied for most kills. That is all.
15-7 in 1 Flag CTF on Gemini. Not a huge score, but the fact that ESTON and myself held a 37 and a 43 down and won 2-0 on a map I hardly knows speaks volumes about either our skill or theirs.
23-9 in 1 Flag CTF on Terminal. This wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't for the fact that at the beginning of the round one guy on our team betrayed me then quit. Then, a man down, ESTON, some random 21 with no mic and myself held the other team off and scored both of our offensive rounds. It was fucking hot.
Lastly, the game I got my 29 in Skirmish with: 14-2 in Assault on Zanzibar. Notice how not only did I have the most kills for my team and least deaths, but I also had both bomb plants. One guy on the other team, who was like a 26, said I was a cheater because I killed him with one hit from the bomb. Yeah, headshots with bombs and oddballs sure is a form of cheating. HA!
I'm usually on between the hours of midnight and 6 am east coast.
But lately I've been playing DoD source.

Dude, seriously, I got to a 29 all by myself. It's not like I'm really good or anything. Sure I get stuck with shit teammates half the time but the other half I own. Eventually you'll make your way up. Pick up the power weapons and tell any teammates that get mad that you picked up that sniper to STFU.

I'm not even playing well right now, but KillerSpanky has a T1 and pulls host almost every game. Did I mention he can snipe like a beast?

What is Team Hardcore? Like I said I haven't played in quite a while so I haven't kept up with the playlists. I think I'll be on tonight when my roomate quits watching TV. If anyone wants to team up lemme know, but my skills have gone downhill after such a long absence and I don't want to drag anyone down with my crappy playing.
I owe bahn a few matches in burnout, but I think tonight I might play this for once.
I just finished a three hour session tonight. I played mostly rumble pit and actually managed to do really well in most of my matches and even got a few first place wins. Feels good to know that I'm not as horrible as I thought I was after not playing for so long. I think I'm gonna start playing this on a regular basis again. I played a few matches of team hardcore and didn't do very well. It seems like I always do much better than rumble pit than in team games, especially objective based ones.
I freakin' love free for all king of the hill. It's just complete chaos the whole time and it's awesome.
So, is Team Hardcore as hardcore as all the cool kids are saying? I've had party members ditch me and my wimpy Training time and time again to go play Hardcore with clan members.

BR start, No Radar, Touch Return in all CTF gametypes. It's a lot harder to be good at than normal slayer.
I played with K 2the ArmA today. He won the last MLG tournament free for all (worth 1,500 dollars).
Yeah, he's so good there's nothing left for you to do most of the time, so you pretty much always go negative. It's crazy.
I played some Double Team with ESTON today and got my 30. Next week I want to try and get my 31.
14-5 in 2v2 Slayer on Backwash. I bring this game up because we were so sure these guys would mod us (given their names) but they ended up not modding and being in general just horrible players.
18-11 in 2v2 Slayer on Backwash... again. I bring this game up becuase the two guys on the other team were the biggest fucks. They got the first two kills and humped my body when they killed me, then I raped all over their faces. It really was what they deserved.
We Also played some Team Hardcore and only lost one game, against fucking rS Shook On3. Yeah, he went like 42-14 on Midship but you have to look for yourself if you care about that game.
18-9 in Team Slayer BR on Lockout. Nothing special really.
18-3 in Team Slayer BR on Ivory Tower. I died twice right off the bat, then got all 18 of my kills in a row, and they finally took me down right before the final kill of the game. It was hot.
We won like 10 more games but even though I went positive, it's not impressive. Team Hardcore is fucking hard, I go 25-20 about every single game. It's not bad, but it's nothing to link to.
I heart multi-team.
Been enjoying it a great deal in my recent return these past few days. It's so chaotic and insane, you don't even have time to get pissed.
All I play is Multi Team these days. More killtaculars and up in the last week than the last year.
SO MUCH CHEATING!
Also, playing Skirmish on fake names is fucking awesome and easy.

I think I'm pretty much done playing Halo 2 online. Battlefield comes out tomorrow then 360 after that. Unless Halo 2 looks better on 360 or has something different its over for me. It would be damn cool if Halo 2 did indeed run at 720p or something on 360, or no more goofy texture glitches. It would kick more ass even if the whole game looked liked the cinemas do.
I'm hurting for HDTV cause it's at least a few years till I can afford it. :(

Bungie finally confirmed that Halo 1 and 2 are in 720P and full screen Anti Aliasing on 360. Also Halo 2 is fully playable on Live with 360. 720P should be nice for splitscreen. Bungie is suppose to make more announcements on Friday. Not sure if its about the Halo BC on 360 or something else.
Halo 2's Live functionality came out tonight and the map packs take fucking aeons to download

I just wish I had played a ton of team snipers before it was ranked so I could have been like a 40 when they gave it a rank.
I saw my ranking was 14 and realised my luck has gotten worse now that I'm matched with even players. Looks like it's all downhill from here.
I'm still sort of disappointed they made snipers Ranked (without leaving a Training counterpart). I have a friend who plays at my house a lot, and doesn't have Live, so Snipers was my favorite thing to play. Now we only have the normal training options and retard Armory (ActionSack can be entertaining).
Odd thing about Sniper though, my rank's a 25 and I don't remeber doing well that often. Most of my games were played split-screen with a guest who got maybe five kills at best per match.
Rank for team snipers is really random.
There's legit 50s now becuase of it. I've even seen kids that are 40's and higher, but after 1,000+ games of slayer haven't broke 25. It's awesome.
I don't get why it's so hard to find 6v6 games with a full party at level 16.
We sat in a room for an hour yesterday before I said fuck it and played DQVIII. Jr, bl0ck and Slay went in as a party of 3 and found games, but we always do our best when we have a full crew.

I get modded all the time in 6v6, it's not surprising at all. We won a match against a group of two modders and two forcing host (the other two were random people) in slayer. It was glorious. Got paired with them again next match for CTF and lost, but we did manage to score once. Fun times.

Does that mean the game has limits reguarding who you can play with? If so, that's dumb.
I lost 50-31 playing shwatguns, but did fairly well with 20-8. My highlight came from tossing about two grenades in the middle of Beaver Creek and coming up with a shitload of medals for double/triple/killtakular and killing spree.
No, it just means we'll play 32s and up endlessly and probably won't win.
From my experience, no one can hang with five levels higher than they can get themselves playing alone. I can get to about 34 or 35 playing by myself, so can the guys I play with; together we can get to 39-40. If you guys are hovering around 25 playing by yourselves, the highest you can probably compete is about 30; since I'm over that it would be kind of pointless to even try.
However, when I get a new name (if I get a new name) I'd be fine with throwing down a little with you guys. If you can hold you're own with people you're level and lower I can pull you to some easy wins.

I've played with Doc Holiday before and his name wasn't Doc Holiday on Live. It was some random shit like Whiskey Trigger or something.
I've been seeing a new load of hacks including open player booting and out of control spawning where you appear airborn and pretty much get gunned down before you even get to see anything. Guess for the time being, we'll have to deal with this shit before Bungie gets the next patch out.
