There's a lot of people in this country who don't believe this is the most important issue.

Me too, since I haven't seen a poll that showed 51% of the country thought it was a relevant issue. Apparently, only 11 states voted on the matter last week, and even then, the measure wasn't "Make gay marriage bigger than Iraq".
