Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Although a forthcoming game based on the final chapter of the Star Wars saga comes as a surprise to no one, I was pleasantly surprised that The Collective, the developer that did Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb will be handling it for LucasArts. Once again, I am forced to thank LucasArts for realizing that their internal staff is incompetent and farming out their franchises to someone who can do them justice.

Indeed. I dug Buffy and Indy. I also liked The Collective's first game, Deep Space Nine: The Fallen on pc. Its not the greatest game, but its very enjoyable and they somehow made a decent third person action game outta DS9.

I have both Buffy and Indiana Jones. Both are fun. Collective is a solid company.

I did not know that they made a 3rd person DS9 game, that's great! Is it still available?

Well..its a few years old (came out end of 2000) and it uses the unreal engine (pre-unreal tournament). I think its a pretty solid game and you should be able to find it for dirt cheap (5 bucks I suppose on ebay).

Yes, this is excellent (queue picture of Keanu). Buffy the Vampire Slayer was easily the most satisfying 3D beat'em up of this generation. Indiana Jones was fun, too, but it needed more destrucible environments and a better throw function.

Good stuff.

I was sold as soon as I saw that "Star Wars" was in the title.

The game actually looks really cool IMO. Hopefully it plays as well as it looks.
