I would have been on right after midnight, but for some reason, my internet decided to go down for about 2 1/2 hours right after 12.
It's been a hell of a vacation, but at least I got to play on Live today.

i did read it and the title states its a review of the collectors edition. which he states in a small blurb at the end what the contents are. if it was really a review of said edition he should of actually went into detail of whats on the dvd and such. which he didnt. so why not just say "2nd opinion review"? thats my only point.Quote:

And my 7 hour gaming marathon comes to an end. I did a little bit of everything, single player and co-op campaign, splitscreen multi, XBL...I'm pooped. Great game.
Wow, this game is awesome. I just got done with a midnight lan party...came home and played a few games on Live (can't believe how smooth it is!), and now I'm gonna dive into single player before I fall asleep. Hmm, good thing I dont have a job right now ;)
Swung by and scooped it up from Wal Mart, they have the LE for the same price as the regular version, heh :)
So far Skirmish mode has been crack.
Have to wait till tomorrow to pick it up, IF my TRU still have any copies left.
Oh well....
Its been a VERY late night for me...
I left at 10:30 to get in line at BB with some friends. It was cold as hell (I believe it was -5c last night). They were running a Halo 2 tourny in a tent on some TVs and a GIANT projector. The winner reiceved $2000 worth of electronics (home threatre system, and some other goodies)...I didn't watch for too long because I wanted to talk to my friends in line...
The line up was not that bad untill 11:15. thats when it started to pick up. I've taken some pics with they are a little blury because my hand were soooo cold  The line was LONG when I too the line pic...what you dont see in the front of the store where we were standing. There were another 50 people a head of us...
My friend who works there was there with his boss and he told us that they recieved 2000 copies of Halo 2 to sell at the store...
When they opened the doors at 12 everyone ran in for their copies. what was funny was the people who didn't pre order got their games first and were out the door, even before the line was starting for pre orders...they were also selling X box releated goods at the time (systems, live kits, etc)...
then I went around to the EB store to see some friends...they were only letting in 10 people at a time so the wait there was killer (I goet in anyways because I know the manager).
Then I came home to play for a bit...I came home at 1 AM and I played till 4 AM.
And all I have to say is that its well worth the wait...
I have come back from the depths of Oblivion to transmit this message. Almost as if I my very being has been destroyed, reflected back on the server which ironically granted me access on this day. Interesting.
Let me tell you a few things. Since I have been gone, I have lived, dreamed and breathed Halo. Mzo can tell you, it's been quite ridiculous.
Bungie merchandise? Name it, I now own it. ILoveBees? I met the puppetmasters, played on a theatre screen and nerded it up so much it would make MarkRyan blush. The game? Both regular and special.
For the past 8 hours I have been locked in my room doing nothing but campaign.
Best.
Game.
Ever.
Let me repeat that so that the kid in the back with his KATAIRMAIRMA DAMRAIDHAIHSHIY chant can hear me.
Best.
Game.
Ever.
We must play some multiplayer tonight, after I've plowed through campaign a few more times.
