Yeah, definitely pick up Once Upon a Time in the West. I think it's like, 10 bucks at Wal-Mart.
While your there, root through the 5.50 bin and look for a Western DVD set that includes Death Rides a Horse, starring Lee Van Cleef. Awesome movie. You've heard the main theme in Kill Bill, too. It's the music that plays when the bride has the french chick in her clutches and challenges O'ren.
THEN, go to Best Buy and see if they have the Spaghetti Western set called Once Upon a Time in Italy, which includes the movies Keoma, Texas Adios, A Bullet for the General, Companeros and Four of the Apacolypse. Texas Adios, Bullet for the General and Companeros are all excellent movies, and Four of the Apocolypse ain't bad, either. Keoma has girly singing, though. So it sucks.
A great movie. I'm not into westerns, but I do like this one.

The Good the Bad and the Ugly, ahhhh yes. I fondly remember when my dad introduced me and my brother to this classic a little over 2 years ago (bought him the DVD as an anniversary gift last year too). Action packed, great acting despite the dubbing (the foreign actors, beautiful soundtrack and exotic locale give it such an amazingly surreal feel), funny moments courtesy of Tuco. One of my favorite parts is is where Tuco asks what the note from Cleef says and I think Eastwood says 'It says 'So long, idiot." And he gets all mad and tears it up. lol Or when Eastwood casually fires the cannon ball at Tuco sending him diving for cover. Or when Tuco is trying to be all nice to him as he lies on his sickbed "Please, oh Blondie. Please tell me where the gold is, I promise I will honor your memory." Then gets hit in the face with hot water. haha "So nice I have my good friend Tuco to help. Ahhh."
Once Upon a Time in the West is amazing too. My dad says Eastwood was originally supposed to be the man with no name in that one also but was unavailable so they got Bronson (who was amazing of course as the harmonica player). Both movies have two non-sci fi villians who could hold their own in pure evil next to Darth Vader. Lee Van Cleef and Henry Fonda sure played a couple of miserable scum.
My dad says he never cared for Outlaw Josey Wales and High Plains Drifter though, said they were way too dark and kinda joyless.

Watched A Fistful of Dollars last night before I went out. Pretty good, but not as good as TG,TB,TE. I liked how Eastwood would play the two gangs against each other. And it was hilarious how there were three scenes in the movie where he mowed down 4-5 guys with one pistol rapid-fire within 2 seconds.
I also rented For a Few Dollars More, I'll probably check it out Sunday.
