Not really, we're not the ones paying for exclusive content from a crappy website. :DQuote:

Such a plain-looking system...
Still, the thumb strap is a cool idea.
I am suprised we have not heard much of anything about the thumb strap (as an alternate input method). Sure, the prospect of playing something like Metroid Prime: Hunters or RRDS with a stylus seemed stupid but trying to play it with your thumb almost seemed too obvious... huh. Some of the design decisions made make a lot more sense now.Quote:

Eh, it doesn't matter. Knowing Nintendo, In 2 months they'll probably release a totally upgraded DS and a completely new handheld system by the middle of 2005. And of course, everyone will buy them all.
IGN is better than Gamespot? IGN's reviews would be more accurate if you divide 1 by them.Quote:

but at least at ign, insiders get those super high res videos. way nicer than what gamespot offers.
At least they took great pics of it...
And put in another stupid "Fran sucks" joke.Quote:

LOL @ Kobe and the Amazing Mirror.
Played with the DS at work today, its freaking rad-city.

I saw this feature a few days ago, and I always like looking at the contents of a fresh new package. The DS is smaller than I always imagined.
Anyone have an idea when customers will be able to try it out at EB?
I second this. I it seems like NINTENDOVATION* is at it again. I hope the word catches on and you all can say that you heard it from your pall Gymkata first. Although, it could get overused and then you all would want to hang me; so forget I said it.Quote:

I would rather other companies be able to use it if it's good. Did Nintendo actually patent the cross shaped d-pad? I know it's common belief that they did but how does that explain the Dreamcast d-pad? It looks just like the NES one.Quote:

... That's still really high no matter how you slice. The first Halo brought a crap load of new stuff to the table as far as console FPSes are concerned -- Halo 2 really didn't.Quote:

Paying IGN money to be an Insider so you can be more privy to the worthless bile they put on that site? Sucks to be you.
Watching 1/2 the net bitch about a Halo 2 getting 9.4 has been without a doubt, the stupidest fucking argument I've seen this year over a game. Honestly.Quote:

Ive gotten my nut sack shot off.
I'd give it about a 7.8.
There are actually petitions going around to get the Gamespot guy fired for the 9.4 score. Unreal.
I think a 9.4 suits the game way better than a 9.9 or 10. The game has it's flaws.
For a console FPS...Quote:

Jeremy, are you serious? Their are petitions for this crap?
Could not be farther off topic right now, but none the less 9.4 is an incredible score every game on the planet would hope for a 9.4, but video gamers often get blinded and forget how to be logical.

I'd sign that petition. Now about the DS..
I wanted one, but christ does the idea of a thumb strap sound and look stupid. I am in a way, still looking foward to the DS for games like Animal Crossing, but just thinking about playing something like Mario 64 and having to use both the D-Pad and the stylus at one time sounds more and more discouraging every time.
I just learned about this magic thumb strap too. Yikes..
