Well, not really cripple, they just don't want the compeition to be able to make very close knockoff's of Marvel characters, because why would anyone bother playing the Marvel MMORPG?

I dont think so in this case, from what i hear from my comics literate frinds,marvel is already percieved as greedy in the comics community. nNgative publicity that reinforces an negative image ,for an entity that is already struggling with its image in its target audience, is just not good.

What's really fucked up about this is that NCSoft is giving in! Might be more than necessary.

There's a level 50 chara named "Woman of Wonder" who looks nothing like Wonder Woman had her named changed to GenericHero493. Hell even a name like "Police Drone" is bad? Gimmie a fucking break.

=/ I didn't stop buying sonic comics becuse of the game. And I didn't burn sonic 3 when sonic and knuckles came out. I can't play both at the same time, but I paid for both games.

I played COH for a long time but one of the first things I did was create a carbon copy of the Bride from Kill Bill. I even gave her katana skills. :)

It is possible to recreate people, although usually hard to get them spot on.

So probably 'The Incredible Hulk' they saw was more like 'The Almost-Incredible Hulk'.

Ohhhhhhhh. Without seeing it I never would've guessed, I just don't think of RoboCop when I think of characters in a superhero game.
