Well, finally saved up enough money and I know have my airline tickets and my hotel reservations for Las Vegas. I'm turning 21 and thats where I am I celebrating it (along with my gf). So now I need to know, for the people who have been, what are the cool places to go and what not. I will be there 3 nights (Fri, Sat, Sun) and want to make the most out of it. So let the suggestions begin!

My 21st in Vegas is still the standard for drunk debauchery. I drank for one day and was drunk for 3 days.
A word of advice, pass up on the free shrimp cocktails.

Opaque and I went 2 years ago with his family. And since we were'nt 21, we hit up all the food places because theres really nothing else to do in Vegas if youre underage. It was by far the best place we went to.
Las Vegas truly is the place of all places. On the way to Los Angeles me and my friend stopped there for one night. We got really plastered walking around (you can drink on the streets there), saw a random water foundation show at the Bellagio, drank a bit in one of the casinos, and saw one of those topless revue shows at Harrah's. The girls were fucking prime and the titty was flying around. And the show was pretty classy actually, you didnt come out feeling dirty like at a strip club (it was called Skintight).

I don't know what kind of budget you're on, but bear in mind that the resorts/casinos on the strip (e.g., Bellagio, Venetian, etc.) are not cheap. Not only is food expensive, but they have very few low-limit tables (you'll notice at night that the low-limit tables mysteriously disappear). Nothing wrong with that, but it makes the money disappear quickly as well. You should hit those places because they are sort of spectacular in their own artificial, hedonistic way -- you may also want to stop at Caesar's and the (formerly Flamingo) Hilton.
In the end, head downtown if you need to save some money. It's not nearly as nice, but you can find much better deals on food, and a slew of lower-limit tables/slots to help you pass the time. The Golden Nugget downtown was still decent when I was last there.

I'll echo what others have said .. if you are a cheap ass .. head to the old downtown. Everything is cheap. (But so is the crowd).
Good mid-level casino's are Harrahs and Flamingo.
AVOID Tropicana and Excalibur. One is a dump and the other is a kiddie haven.
Flamingo would be my choice for price/location on the strip.
