Yeah, didn't have to wait until tomorrow morning, even. I went over the course catalog... almost everything is full. Two of the few classes I want that are available conflict with each others' times. I can't get a single class toward my major. The first thing I did was leave an angry voicemail with the useless advising office. Tomorrow morning I'm going to fill a schedule with 4 classes I don't really want, and go to advising to raise hell. There is no reason I should be paying upwards from $30k a year to put up with this complete bullshit. I am not going into debt for this shit.

They're going to make room for me in these classes, or I'm going to leave. Unlike some people here, it seems, I actually want an education worth a damn to go with my diploma.

As for me, I finished my fucking paper today, was supposed to be 7-10 pages but i cooked it up to 13 (cooked up a load of shit!), its seriously the lousiest paper i've ever written but hey fuck it its godamnned done and worded alright so i'll be fine. I just didn't have time to flesh out clear ideas, whenever i tried to my mind was clouded. In fact my mind was clouded all throughout writing this paper... I'm so fucking glad its done, got all the works cited/inline citation stuff done this morning so I'm good.

Oh, no, I have no intention of doing so. This last semester pushed me a little too far, and I have no intention of taking this shit. Not at all. I'm going to get the classes I actually want to talk this semester, or they're not getting my money. Plain and simple.

=/ I don't see the logic behind what they are doing. Yeah, maybe doing things like that will help promote good grades, but shit, when most colleges don't have enough classes for one major, if enough people want that class they open another one up.

I don't see what they hope to gain by playing hardball like that with the students. "make super grades or we will not give you the classes you want"

Of corse there probably isn't any well thought out reason. A lot of big colleges are huge piles of shit when it comes to how they are run in regards to the students.

There are a lot of things wrong with many colleges in the US.

Two finals next week - Tuesday and Thursday, and then I'm finally done and can take a rest. This coming weekend is my last for studying and I'm damn glad of it - I could do with a bit of sleep, cause I'm not getting shit during these last weeks.

Lets see..... no essays, only 4 art projects, 1 web site design, and 1 statistics test. Whee, community college is fun!

I seriously don't know why I even bother going. I'm not learning anything, and its just a waste of time.

I can't wait til I have enough credits/motivation to go to a real school.
