Used Bookstores
I only really know of one, and that was on UDel's campus on main street. After buying all my school books I went into the back and perused the hardcovers.
INSANE DEALS. They were all used, but almost all were in perfect condition. I picked up Jurassic Park, The Lost World, and some other books that I can't remember right now. I bought 5 of them and spent 8 dollars. On pristine hardcover books.
So post your favourite used booksellers here. I don't know of any around my area, northern NJ/NY, but I'm going to look into it.

There's this place in Port Jefferson, I forget the name. I picked up a book there for $2 called the Necronomicon or something. I thought it was a cookbook but instead it unleased all these demons and shit and my neighborhood was pretty much fucked up and I had to hack my family apart with an ax because they were possessed and shit. And the cunt wouldn't give me a refund or even store credit. Avoid that place.

I had a used bookstore close by that was run by an easily 400 pound woman. She always smelled bad.
Anyway, the place recently went out of business, so I'm looking for another store. I used to get so many cheap books there ;__;

There's a place near me called Kudzu Bookstore, not used books, but all clearance prices. A very big store with a large selection... That place friggin' rules.

King's Books in Tacoma is my favorite store ever - I have never been out of luck looking for a book in that place. I usually avoid Tacoma like the plague, but strangely enough its a haven for used books/records/music equipment.

There'sone on Main Street in Somerville, NJ and it sucks. The book are only organized by genre and you can barley walk through it. Books are constantly falling over, crashing down, and avalanching towards you. Good deals though.

Did we even have any used bookstores back in hometown, CT? Yeah, eBay is probably the best place to get used books, aside from the occasional book fair at the library.
