That was back when Spider-Man and the Power Pack were part of a Marvel cooperation with a child abuse group to help kids come forward and talk about abuse. Back then, comics had a much larger child audience, so it actually helped.

LOL That story was hilarious. It would rule if Skip showed up now as Spidey's new enemy. He could call himself "The Molester" or "Poke-Man" or something and when Spidey realizes who he really is he could curl up in the fetal position and start crying.

Yes, I remember those ads...I think I still have a few in my old comic collection. I'll try to find some tonight and scan 'em. I remember Spidey saying "And remember, IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!"

Those ads helped me a lot through some...um, I mean they helped a friend of mine through some dark times.

lol I just saw one of those on the back of a Luke Cage: Power Man comic.
