Anyone else prepared for "Blitz Day"

Well, it's called that here at least (yes, I've read the Wal-Mart thread, and I agree with everything said in it) Anyway, for those not in the know, it's the day after Thanksgiving and is the most important shopping day of the year for most retailers. Before I left today, they were allready beginning to set up the displays and merchandise for Friday (Thanksgiving is one of only 2 days that evil incarnate is closed) My department was putting out what I call the 'ghetto" electronics, like the $27 Symphonic DVD players, and $60 Symphonic 25in TV's, and of course, those fly out the store. Fortunately, I pulled the evening shift for Friday, so I'll miss most of the morning madness (and probable fist fight or two). Any other retail workers dreading/looking forward to that day?

I'm just going to EB to get 10 dollar Call of Duty and 10 dollar Chronicles of Riddick.

They'll be about 5 people in the store most likely.

And it's actually called Black Friday, but lately retailers are so paranoid of someone screaming racism or some shit they try and change the name.

This is the first time in years I don't have a retail job I'll have to go to and deal with this mess all day, not to mention the rest of the holiday season. The enormity of the awesomeness of that just dawned upon me.

I'll get up early and hit up Circuit City and EB for the Pearl White SP w/ Metroid Zero Mission and Riddick, respectively, then do fuck-all all day.

edit: just saw the Target deals, I'll definitely get Family Guy season 2 and Simpsons season 4 for for $17.99 each there. Sweet.

Yea I think I might hit up Circuit City early for that 11.99 Aladdin DVD, only because I have a 10 dollar gift card there =/

I work in manafacturing, our workload went up due to the Holiday season but I don't have to deal with Black Friday, hell I don't even have to work, I just have to deal with the traffic that's bad enough as is around here.

I work in a grocery store, so our "Black Friday" is the week leading up to Thanksgiving.

I'm working. I'm kinda "meh" about it.

Ill be working that day too but not in retail.......
I always used to go to stores just to see how crazy everyone be.

I think maybe ill go down to the mall and clothesline an old lady for a DS.

Aladdin will be $9.87 at Wal-Mart. However, Circuit City will probably be less busy and therefore worth spending the extra $2 or whatever.
