I do hate sports games. I'm just not a big sports gamer guy.

I don't know how anyone can hate FPS though. Sure people talk way to fucking much about them, but I don't think that is the games fault.

Shooting Nazi's is fun, and good for the entire family.

I'm indifferent towards both genres. I don't like many FPSes due to how narrow your range of vision is, but good ones are at least worth playing in spite of that.

Dude, so its like your entire existence is an FPS? Thats so rad.

Agreed. When I stopped playing FPS games, it was mainly find the key OMFGENEMIES, kill, find the key. Not that the killing wasn't fun, but it just didn't offer the kind of depth, say, a fighter did. Half Life 2 had the hype to draw me in, showed me just how far the genre has come and then added to it greatly.

I'm even starting to think I might be up for another run and kill, as long as it's multiplayer. Might have to reactivate Live and grab Halo 2 after playing HL2 and lurking the Halo thread.

Anyway, if I'm any indication, I think a lot of people who got fed up with FPS games did so when id was still churning out rehash after rehash and were, even keeping that in mind, the best game in town. Anyone who was in that boat with me should really see what FPS games have to offer today, shut up and play.

Edit: Whoa... The Simpsons is on the background and shortly before I saw Dog's pic Bart and Milhouse were watching TV and Bart said "Cool. The old Batman show." No point, just creepy.
