How they've fallen. All their stuff is being auctioned off in a bankruptcy sale, including about 43,000 game carts and discs. Everything from photocopiers and furniture to video equipment and even official vehicles are up for grabs. Anyone need 6,905 copies of Alias?

No, I think Red Star was finished but it just never got published. Sort of like Street Syndicate Racing, it was finished it and then it took almost an entire year (or something crazy) to find another publisher and actually get it on shelves.Quote:

I'd have happily paid $30 for Red Star, but the $50 it was supposed to come out at was just too much. Then, like for example Transformers, it'd drop to $20 in a few months and I still wouldn't buy it because the thrill is gone.

Went to the preview today. I have to say, even though I believe that Acclaim is to blame for their own downfall through mismanagement and poor games, it's still pretty depressing to walk through a deserted building that's barely lit looking at all kinds of cubby holes that used to be someone's way to make a living.
Mostly office stuff, computers, vcr's, tv's, etc... There were a few interesting items - some DC dev boxes a few GD-Writers, some PSX Dev Units (The PS2 dev units were only available to view for licensed developers), some N64 long proto carts of games that were already released. There weren't tons and tons of software around like you might expect - it was actually pretty barren.
I'll be going back tomorrow and I'll report what I pick up. There was a lot (74,000 sq. feet) of territory to cover and not enough time.

Some guy named "Assembler" picked up a bunch of neat crap like dev kits and Akklaim memorabilia. It's a bit scattered but definitely worth a look.
