Well, you know a couple of things:
1. The Boss and The Sorrow had a love child around the time of World War 2, 1940s.
2. Ocelot is approximately 20 years old in MGS3, which takes place in 1964.
3. The Boss' child was taken from her by The Patriots.
4. Ocelot works for the Patriots.
It's never stated plainly, it's just something you can conclude.

The Fury being a fire ghost or whatever the fuck that was was lame as hell. Why did the Boss's scar turn into a snake and crawl away? That was fucking dumb too.

The Boss' scar was from the Patriots. She suffered both a physical and psychological oppression from them. You killed her, thus freeing her from the oppression. The scar of the Patriots disappears.

I was playing through the game again, and I get up to The End, a fight that I really wish I didn't have to do, it's so damn annoying. So I get shot like 30 million times by the old geezer, save, and head out to classes. I get back on today, and I get a radio call from Colonel Zero telling me that The End DIED while waiting for me to come back. THEN he proceeds to make fun of me!

Oh well, battle averted.

Also, Snake is the most wooden, undersexed man this side of Ryo Hazuki.

At least he comes correct in the end.

That's funny. He's somewhat annoying, but isn't THAT hard to defeat -- at least in a single sitting.

It's also funny because you can kill The End long before that fight ever happens anyway, so in reality, it's a fight you DON'T have to do.
