X4 was (and still is) the shit. Great music, good level design, good bosses - obviously, a lot of work went into this thing.

X5 was.....okay.

X6 was terrible. Level design was horrible. Blind jumps into spikes is unforgiveable. Rescuing those damn droids and having Alia in my ear every two seconds was annoying.

My brother really likes megaman. like, enough to pretend he likes X7 just to bother me with the crappy voice acting, mediocre graphics, and the constant "can you hear me, Axle?". It is pretty funny, tho. I was laughing all through his frustrating bout with Flame Hyenard, and walking into my room to hear a chorus of voices announcing "RIDE BOARSKI!!!" was priceless.
i never played it because i believe that it would have some long-term effect ending in my death. I do, however, really like the Battle Network series. and i'm willing to take as many insults as necessary for it.

Every fucking Megaman game since Mega Man II has been a rip-off of an earlier game. Its seriously pitiful, and the fact that this stupid series has been around so long, and the fact that people STILL buy these shitty rehashes tells me all I need to know about hardcore gamers. Fuck Mega Man, fuck Capcom, and fuck anyone who is still playing this series.
