What is this nonsense? Just because people of all other religions want in on the beauty of Christmas and whine about being left out doesn't mean poeple should cater to the pussies.

We're going to NY to see the "Holiday Tree" this weekend.
Next year it will probably be sponsored by Pepsi. "The Pepsi Holiday Tree"
That sounds so right it's scary.Quote:

And a Kwanza...um...what the hell is that holiday, anyways, besides christmas for african americans? Never heard about it until a few years ago.
Fuck people.
Christmas is about as christian as my penis.
Here's what wikipedia has to say about Kwanzaa.Quote:

I don't know about Kwanzaa, but I like the way this guy takes care of business.Quote:

"Holiday Tree" my ass.
Kwanzaa is a cultural thing. If it's excluded from all of the PC celebrations of Christmas and Chaunaka, so what?
When's the Holiday Menorah coming out? Oh, NEVER? Okay.
I'm still calling it the Christmas tree, because that is what it is. Political correctness, my non-existant left nut.
Is that a round about way of telling us if you are circumcised or not?Quote:

Kwanzaa Bot's book "What the Hell is Kwanzaa?" came to mind when I first read about this, that, and South Park's non-denominational all-black attire celebration.
Political Correctness is the worst thing to ever happen. Ever.
I hope anybody that is offended by "Christmas Tree" dies the night before their child gets married.
So you're saying it's worse then the rise of facism and the consequent holocaust, that's so insensitive.Quote:

Kwanzaa is just another McHoliday, like the ones we have for secretaries and shit. It makes about as much sense as having a special holiday for all asians, or all native americans. You know, since all people from a given continent are pretty much the same, right? I'm sure Hutus, Tutses, Bantus, San, Massai, etc. all like being lumped together in one big, black group.
How dare you question my broad generalization and drastic overstatement, then split hairs even though you understand the original meaning of my post. Do you think me an ignoramus, sir? Because it would seem that way, and I am offended easily.Quote:

I think we're on the same page. Midgets deserve to be treated with just as much respect as the rest of us, but nothing will change the fact that they're mdgets.
And yeah, the term 'Little People' is just stupid. If someone has a problem with the term midget because it's technically inaccurate, fine, but I don't consider it offensive or derogatory in any way.
Well, Afrocentrism IS racism. I mean, I've seen an Afrocentric documentary where the African-American narrator was talking about how his homeland was "Kemet" (Egypt) and how proud he was of his "ancestors" making such great things as the pyramids. I mean, I find that deeply saddening, that someone feels such a void in their cultural background that they are willling to divorce themselves from the truth that most of the trans-atlantic slaves were taken from sub-Saharan Africa; and they will ignore their real ancestory (southern and middle africa) for an largely unrelated culture that is seen as more grandiose.Quote:

By the way, just because a term is politically correct doesn't mean you won't get into trouble. Negroid is the correct scientific term for black people, but I dare you to start using it in public. The word niggardly is a fine term, but most people don't know that. Most midgets I know get more offended by the term "dwarf" which is technically the correct term.
Basically, people consistently want what they are called to change because they associate the negative attention they get on the words that are used. They give certain words power and as such, they want the words to change every now and then so they can stop associating them with negative experiences. If they called midgets little people in the carnivals when they were sideshows, they would all get getting offended by the LP term and they would be asking us to call them midgets.
True enough. It just depends what year it is that designates what is and isn't a "dirty" word.Quote:

Why do we call black people African-Americans if they've never lived in Africa or weren't even from Africa in the first place?
becuase people ar stupid, even black peopleQuote:

That's because Stone calls us anti-semites and beats us in Street Fighter really badly if we say "Jew." Heh.Quote:

I prefer the term "Heeb".Quote:

Hmm lets see lets see during kwanza you light a different candle every night and give presents and the candleholder is called a kinara, (rhymes with menorah) Hmm sounds familiar..... :wtf:
While "Holiday Tree" is a bunch of retarded shit, pretty much all Christmas traditions, like the tree, mistletoe, and yule logs are directly ripped from Celtic and Norse pagan celebrations of the winter solstice. We should just split the difference and call them "Thor-can-kick-your-fucking-ass Trees".
Heh.. erect is in the titttle.. ..
Thanks for appreciating my subtle humour.
