Killzone 2

I never quite adjusted to the framrate but some stages where worse than others (I hated the swamp but the research station was pretty good on both out and in-door sections for example). The music was nice but the voices where retarded at times, enemies sounded like they where close but were infact standing 50 meters away.Team mates yelling "falling.. back" six times in a row or just saying things that doesn't make sense, good voice actors though.

Do a lot of fps games have a run button btw? I thought it was a nice feature and I didn't mind the fact that you couldn't jump, infact I hope they skipp it next time around.

A lot of PC FPS games have a sprint button. I can't think of any console-only ones that do, though.

A lot of times the option menu has an "always run" option, which is turned on by default.

I'm playing Killzone right now, and it's really not a bad game at all. Has a few problems, namely the aiming controls, but nothing too serious. The whole atmosphere is extremely well done, both visuals and audio. A PC version would have been kickass. WASD + mouse all the way.

EDIT: The ability to lean would be great in this game.

Yeah, the only things that hurt the game were the repetitiveness of single player, the lack of maps and modes for multi, and having to use the terrible analogue sticks on the dual shock to aim, though by the end I had the targeting down pat.

I'm dumb, but framerate is a HUGE issue with me in any game. I can notice any drop in framerate with the drop of a dime. It practically ruined Super Mario Kart GBA in multiplayer mode just because it slowed down just a little.

I really can't help it, but when I fired up Killzone, the framerate just bugged me to all hell.

My question is whether or not Killzone 2 will be released for the PS2 or PSP. I seriously doubt it will make it onto the PlayStation 3.

Why? It'd be an excellent launch title. And there's no reason for Killzone 2 on PS2--the first one is evidence enough that Guerilla needs more hardware power.
