They always bought some of the biggest space at conventions, though. I wonder who's gonna take their place. Anime Castle hasn't been showing up to cons lately either. The little man is being pushed around a lot by the big name publishers nowadays.

Too much. If I remember correctly, the one they were selling at Otakon '04 was either $500 or $650.

Even at the storefront the price was ridiculous.

These fuckers took like three tries to successfully mod my old GameCube.

And I swore I saw the guy who owns Pandora's Cube on ESPN Page 2 look-alikes next to Jabba the Hut.

Yeah, that's why we call it Jabba's Cube. The prices might have been rediculous, but they were the only people aside from sending it off to get my jam modded. That being said, they got what they had coming, what with how blatantly obvious they were with the "Super Xbox" being right in the front of the store.

Their prices were outrageous, but what I always thought was hilarious was that the couple of times I (or anyone I knew) would buy a game there we were able to haggle the price down to below-market prices (it was almost as if they just wanted us out of there before other customers caught wind of their bullshit). Good times.

Sometimes I wonder how people this dumb (selling preloaded/premodded Xboxs in a retail setting) last so long.
