But like I said, people buy PS2s over and over because they think it's a problem with the PS2 they go, not a problem with "the PS2." At least, not to the degree that it happens to every single one.
This is a more fundamental problem that rears its head from the second you open the box and never goes away. Sony left the PDA market because they had a similar issue there and people refused to buy their products because of it.

Maybe your family fills their gas tanks up with chocolate pudding, maybe you're just making stuff up because you have some irrational hatred towards Sony. With the number of retailers out there, many of whom keep records of returns and whatnot, you'd think someone would be able to prove that Sony hardware is complete junk. If we're going on anecdotal evidence I can say that none of Sony's hardware ever fails because all my stuff works perfectly, but that would be stupid because I'm just one person. I mean everyone's free to speak of their own experiences, but when people chime in with stories of their PS2s going up in flames and killing their entire family I just have to roll my eyes.
And I know asking for a mature gaming forum is too much, I'm just hopeful okay? :)
