What does Deadly Arts (a Konami game) has to do with DOA (a Tecmo game)? AFAIK, Tecmo never planned on releasing DOA for the N64.

Are you sure? That was when I first heard about this game, it was a picture from the cover, a full-page ad in a magazine. I'd search through my mags, but I can't remember what time frame or magazine series this was from. Could've sworn I've seen it...

I think a PS-specific mag. I'll have to search.

Raiden Fighters 2 (Electronic Arts Victor)
-This had to be one of the most wanted arcade ports for the Sega Saturn. The news of its cancellation really bit bad. Although having the JAMMA board is some consolation, it would've been nice to see more players enjoy this game.

Streets of Rage 4 (Sega)
-What a CRIME it is that we didn't get a SoR4 with nicely animated 2D sprites on the Saturn or Dreamcast. Instead, we got Dynamite Deka- a game with some pretty ugly 3D graphics and a short play time. On the Dreamcast, we got Dynamite Cop- which isn't much better.

Gekirindan (Virgin)
-A rather flawed port of the Taito F3 game with some extra slowdown.

Sky Target (Sega)
-Imagine an After Burner type game with a poor 3D engine, lousy music, no throttle, and just plain horrid control. This game is a gross insult to Yu Suzuki.

Ikaruga (Treasure)
-If this turns out to be a hoax... I've got a pot of tar and a bag of feathers ready to put to some good use. :mad: Hopefully that will not be the case.

GameWorks
-They are so damn slow to get new games. Late in April, they got Jurassic Park III. JPIII is not bad. However, nothing else has shown up there since.

You heard correctly. It's crap. Control is awful, and that game seemingly goes on forever(no ending, you just loop around Dr Wily's castle from what I can recall).

Batle and Chase is rather bleh. I was upset it was cancelled, until I played it. I bought mine off of Mr_Furious. :D
