See here is the problem, the average person won't approach an ugly stranger and try to build a friendship around it. In school, and at work, I gravitate towards good looking people. So now, if I talk to a girl she's obviously good looking and there are two ways things can go: she could end up being very annoying and I never want to talk to her again or she can end up being really cool and fun to talk to. Now if it's the later we have a good looking girl who is fun to hang out with, which, to me, adds up to dating and furthermore fucking material.

Maybe if through some random string of coincidence I started talking to some ugly chick who was cool I would have a friend who was a girl and I didn't want to fuck, but I doubt very highly that will ever happen.

There's a lot of chicks I'm just friends with but they're not very attractive. The attractive ones who are just friends are usually women whom I'd like to hit however. That's just the way guys are.

If you remind a dude of a close female relative, then that can also prevent porking. Most normal dudes don't want to nail someone who reminds them of their family. I can't think of the Olsen twins in a sexual manner, because 1) I remember the little toddler from Full House, and 2) they remind me of my sister.

This is true. There were two women I worked with that I thought were hot until one day I saw one of them in non-work clothes and she dressed in the exact same fashion as my mom and the other one has been dressing and acting more and more like my grandma. Witnessing each of those things happen just killed any ideas I had towards them.

The funny thing is that some scientific study said men tended to marry or were attracted to women that reminded them of their mothers. I'm not sure of the validity but a women who at least acted a little like my mom would work well because I'd get along with her well. When it comes to looks and everything...FUCK NO!

I wonder if that is really true, or if from a genetic stand point men find the same things atractive as their Dads and Granddads.

I find it funny that you're implying that you're only friends with good looking people.

My friend and I were walking around the city one day and decided that only about 8% of the population is "good looking." This was inspired from a Seinfeld ep in which Jerry estimates about 5%. Either way, there's alot of ugly/mediocre looking people out there.
