I think this whole problem would be allievated if people just used the total ignore.

3) No way, I think it looks stupid!
4) You just have shitty taste in games!
5) You're a dirty clam fucker!
6) You're such a troll, TNL was so much better back in the day!
Then you get about 4 pages of this, before everyone gives up, and then the cycle can start anew.
Gaming is great to discuss, especially when you're amongst people who have a really large amount of knowledge about games. But the double-edge to this, is that when people discuss games REALLY seriously it begins to look like when old people around chess tables discuss politics, really dry; also the discussion is more about who proving is the most "knowledgable" than the actual issues themselves. Humour and ribbing are good ways to cut through this, to lighten things up and make things a little less intense.Quote:
