Then they'll mention that their fucking high school teachers like their work. Newsflash: this ain't high school. Then you have the ones that don't pay attention in class, some even going as far as playing their GBAs while we're getting instructions on what to do for homework. When they don't know what to do, they blame it on the teacher and say they don't know how to teach.Quote:

They're saying this about a man who held a two hour bonus Q and A session the night before the exam and answered every possible essay question that might have been on the exam. He fucking threw an underhand beachball at the class and over half failed.
What. the. fuck.
James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, third or fourth largest school in the state methinks. And yes, as of right now I am an English major even though I'm tinkering with the idea of switching to the school of Media Arts and Design.Quote:

Or do they not know MLA guidelines? Students who were not lucky enough to learn those need to head over to ebay or amazon and get a copy of the MLA guide.
I hope you aren’t getting mad at the students who are paying attention and still mess up on what you want. You are human and probably don’t always communicate what you want done on your homework as clearly as you would like to think you do.
Why not try something really hard, like rocket science, or become a brain surgeon? These days you can't swing a dead cat with out hitting a starving English major or artist.Quote:

It seems like common sense now. :) I failed at all four of those, and it is a big reason why I don't have a degree.
Focus on getting good grades for your core classes, and then screw the rest and be happy with C's. When it comes time to make a resume, don't put your overall GPA, just put the GPA of your core classes.
go out and have fun instead of studying for crap you'll never use. because before you know it you'll be too old, tired, and ugly to score hot punani and drink for 12 hours straight.
what are the differences between core classes and requirments?
Because not everyone wants to waste the best years of their life away in the library, or work 50 hour weeks in an office for half their life?Quote:
