I think it changes per state. It is something mind numbingly low, considering they have to deal with children.Quote:

I was referring to teaching. The averages I posted are for teachers with 4 years of college, including teaching (education) courses.Quote:

meh, who would want to teach carpet monkeys how to read?
If only i could. I work 5-11 now, and my choice for class was either 8-1 or 1-6, and 1-6 wouldn't give me much time for work. I have to work because I pay my tuition monthly. Believe me, if I could go at night, I would.Quote:

Those are the ones they don't follow, and then proceed to bring in work they did the night before or even some cases, in the hallway before the teacher comes in.Quote:
Well what are they lacking? Are they screwing up spelling or grammar? Because that really isn't there highschool teachers fault. They stop teaching kids grammar and how to spell around the 8th grade. I personally think that is a bad idea because that means a student will go 4 years with out seeing technical grammar rules before jumping into college. @_@ some college teachers are known for dropping students a letter grade for each misspelled word and/or grammar mistake.
Or do they not know MLA guidelines? Students who were not lucky enough to learn those need to head over to ebay or amazon and get a copy of the MLA guide.
I hope you aren’t getting mad at the students who are paying attention and still mess up on what you want. You are human and probably don’t always communicate what you want done on your homework as clearly as you would like to think you do.
lol, that reminds me of how in highschool I would totally forget to do my sketches for art class. I would usually just go out into the parking lot and sketch cars and turn that in.Quote:
