Yes, I agree. I thought that these would be run-of-the-mill 3D backgrounds, but man, was I wrong! The Brazil bg (along with most of the others) is simply amazing. They really put some work into them.

I would be surprised if they did all the KOF games that way, but just as long as they had the option for the original Neo-Geo mode, I would be very happy.

If they did that, guess how that would make capcom look?

Even then, they'd still rehash the same old sprites without putting any actual effort in making their games look better. :p

I think those controllers are a piece of shit, i used them in a small SF2 tourney at Comic Con and a lot of people kept hitting the start button and resetting the game. I got a chance to fool around with the arcade stick, and it's the most beautiful thing I've seen in a while.

Well... until I saw the Neo Geo controller.

I was talking about the joystick, yes. But the pads aren't bad, either. My co-worker got the joystick, and I was so impressed with it that I ran out to buy one that night after work. I was surprised to find so much hate for the joystick after I made a thread about it on the Gaming-Age forums. Apparently a lot of people at SRK hate it too. I find it incredibly respsonsive, and it may not be using arcade parts, but it works perfectly. There were people telling me it was unresponsive and the buttons stick. Maybe they're using something else. :rolleyes:

As much as I love the Saturn pad, the Neo-Geo pad is the KING of fighting game controllers. :D The d-stick is what does it; it works so well and makes inputting the most complex of motions a breeze.
