Yeah, for the first time this season, I'm really pumped to see what happens next.
Pokin' around another forum and someone was discussing the fact that the "final five" have never been referred to as cylons (other than the cryptic note from an unknown source very early in the mini-series saying there are 12 models) and there's speculation that they are actually human. Another theory has Earth as the final resting place for humans and cylons (aka "heaven") and this would be consistent with some of Baltar's sputterings and the apocalyptic end that the hybrid keeps talking about. Then again, Olmos says that everything isn't neatly wrapped up at the end, so I'm doubting that conclusion.
I think he meant more from the "nice happy ending" perspective than the "loose ends" perspective.
Funny.
But the 4 of the 5 refer to themselves as Cylons, with no prompting from anyone. The Presidential Aide one (I forget her name) also displayed the same kind of explosive strength the regular skin jobs have when she bitch-slapped Kally across the air-lock bay.
It did kind of seem that the Hybrid was implying the final 5 are from Earth though... what did it say? "The 3 will show you the 5 from the 13th" or something like that?
I dunno. I just really want to see the 4's cover blown. It will be so WTF.
Agreed on both counts. Its about time the show starts to pick up the pace.Too bad we had to sit through, what, 5 episodes for it to happen? Lets hope it keeps it up and doesnt slack again.Quote:

And that planet near where the Cylon battle took place? That wasnt Jupiter was it? If so, then yeah, they're pretty fucking close...
I don't think it was Jupiter, just a random gas giant.
I'm pretty sure it was Jupiter. It's what Kara had been painting.
