I meant that they're rippping off Gamefan's style. Poorly.Quote:

The question is: does DJPubba realize there is a problem?
I also agree that the editing problems are quite minor in the big scheme of things. Make it worth reading first, then worry about grammar and spelling. GameGO! was awesome.
Man, the cover art just gets worse and worse. It's hard to tell here 'cause it's a small pic, but check it out at the newsstand. It's fucking terrible.

You guys really need to dump Wolfinger, as I really think he's hurting your chances at making it. If I were just a regular person looking for a gaming mag I'd pass HCG right on by without a second glance, solely based on that shit cover.
Kinda funny since I actually liked it.
Yeah... I like his art generally, but for some reason his new covers remind me of the kind of art you'd find on low-budget 80s comedies buried deep within your local video rental place.
This magazine is really a kick to GameGo's balls. DJPubba is the Uwe Boll of video game magazines.
Wow. You really hate Wolfinger's stuff, eh?Quote:

I have to check out this new cover in person.Quote:

Yeah, but the funny thing is that I used to like a lot of the stuff he did for Gamefan back in the day. But like sethsez, uh, says, the art he's churning out recently for HCG is awful. It's just just so stiff, ulgy and lame. If I knew nothing about the background of the mag and who's making it there's no way I'd want to be caught dead leafing through it at the news stand, let alone buying it (which I don't). The cover is the most important part of any mag- it's what catches one's eye and inspires them to actually check out the contents. HCG is falling flat on their face in that regard.Quote:

Here's a bigger pic I took with my cell (it reminds me of GamePro):Quote:
