And yes, that cover art is kind of charming just for how cheesy it is, but if I didn't know who the artist was I'm sure I'd vomit all over the newsstand or something when I saw it.

Now that the magazine is not very good, it seems kind of blasphemous that it looks so much like Gamefan.

You guys really need to dump Wolfinger, as I really think he's hurting your chances at making it. If I were just a regular person looking for a gaming mag I'd pass HCG right on by without a second glance, solely based on that shit cover.

Seriously, I think Wolfie is a great guy, and a talented artist, but that cover is just terrible. It makes the mag look horribly amateurish.

I don't like the cover either and thought so as soon as I got it in the mail, but I'd cut Wolfie some slack here - he's probably got other PAYING projects and donates this artwork as taking one for the team to get the mag off the ground. I give them credit for being around this long and that's not a knock against HGM - it's fucking tough out there.
