Mr. and Mrs. Smith

I went to the movies last night with a lot of friends and we saw Ocean's Twelve (pretty good, definitely not on par with the original-remake), and I saw a lot of new previews (The Pacifier, The Ring Two, Mr and Mrs Smith, the new Batman, Constantine, etc.) and Mr. and Mrs. Smith really stood out to me as a movie I'd like to see. It stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as the worlds most deadly assassins. They're married and neither one of them knows the other is an international murderer.

The movie promises to have a lot of action with a neat theme. Apparently they try to kill each other upon hearing the bad news, which is the dynamic about the film that attracted me to it. Check out the site and the trailer.

This Summer is looking great fror movies right now. I'm only basing this on Batman, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Serenity (Firefly), but if these movies are indicators of the summer 2005, I cannot wait.

It looks good, though. They're playing a ridiculous angle, but the writing itself (from the trailers) looks to be playing it up in an overblown, over the top style. To me this is a great idea, and will hopefully deliver a memorable and unique experience.

I sound like a PR guy, but I'm really just excited about the project.

Looks like it may be a fun movie.

I like the scene in the preview when Angelina is emptying her gun at Pitt, then yells out "Honey are you still okay!". Pitt starts moaning out loud like a little bitch,faking pain, then starts opening fire at her. Pretty devious.
