I used to love Vigilante 8 on the Dreamcast and PSX. I thought the game sold well, too. Why isn't the game being continued? I don't think Twisted Metal fills the void.

It's from the same developer as True Crime(Luxoflux) which is owned by Activision. Are they working on a True Crime sequel? I don't remember. That might have more selling appeal.
Wow, they did Vigilante 8 and True Crime?Quote:

Vigilante 8 was a Twisted Metal rip-off that wasn't as good. True Crimes was a Grand Theft Auto rip-off that wasn't as good.
I stand by my previous statements.
It was better than TM4, but that's not saying a whole lot.Quote:

Wasn't the developer originally part of the Twisted Metal team that split off? I seem to recall reading that from a review or preview about V8, but that was so many years ago (and about a game I never cared about) I could just be remembering things wrong.
Another Luxoflux game is Interstate '76 for PC which was pretty good at the time.
I don't think so. Rogue Trip for PS1 had some Twisted Metal people though so maybe that's the game you're thinking of.Quote:

Carmageddon, on the other hand, was hours of fun for me. Something about ramming each other on streets crowded with pedestrians brought me great joy, more of a hands-on approach as opposed to playing MASK.
