Wonder what kind of servers they set up to take on the onslaught. Can't say I'm surprised this mess is happening.
well, it is a beta, this is half the point, seeing where registration, downloads, and updates fail to you know... fix them.
So far my only gripe is the konami ID, which i hope doesnt completely invalidate our PSN accounts.
Not really. Generally Betas of this nature are to test network infrastructure. Not being able to print numbers on a piece of paper, and registration for a site that is currently being used for other games should not factor into this Beta. That's just Konami being a bunch of idiots and fucking up.
Yeah there was none of this nonsense with the Halo 3 beta.
Not true, there was the fact that they couldn't get the stupid Crackdown beta access working for like 12 hours. But nothing quite like this. There have also been plenty of other console betas that went off without a problem. Call of Duty 4, Battlefield Bad Company, immediately come to mind.
I wonder how OMG HOME is going to work with this non sense Konami based IDs.
So where are you guys downloading the beta? I don't see it on PSN.

quite like what? Were not supposed to download the demo until tomorrow, the beta doesnt even start till next week. I get everyones rush to get it ASAP, but its not like someone who sat down and download it sunday and register sunday wouldnt get in to the beta.Quote:
