They'll also be called Metal Gear Less Sales.

The series is in decline sales wise, I blame that on MGS2.

I go to see a James Bond moive, I want to see James Bond.

I play a MG Game, I want to see Snake (or Boss), age does not matter in this case at all, and not some other character that is goofy, silly and downright fucking retaded.

This is not an unreasonable requirement and after the backlash from MGS2, Kojima would be a fool to do the same thing again.

Bad analogy.

Even though the RE series is alot more flexible in terms of main characters, alot of fans complained about the lack of Umbrella and Zombies in RE4.

They were wrong in that case. RE4 was the best of the series (slightly better than RECVX) though it would be cool to have Zombies back in 5.

So... what makes MGS a special case, then?

If RE4 can be the best of the series without zombies or Umbrella, why couldn't MGS4 be the best of the series with old Snake and Raiden? Or are you saying you'd ignore it even if it was, because of the main characters?
