Why is everyone proclaiming Raiden to be a total badass now, based on just a trailer? All I see is that he's a Cyborg Ninja rip-off now, and wants to "protect" Snake. I bet he does.
Then again, I'll admit not seeing the 15 minute trailer (server's still down), but I doubt it'll change my mind.
BTW, does anyone agree that the graphics looks downgraded from the first trailer released back in September? The game looks blurrier, the animation doesn’t look quite as realistic and there seems to be less going on in the environment.

Watched it. It was an expanded version of the new E3 trailer, combined with footage from the original trialer released back in September. So, that let me compare the graphics. Guess I was wrong, the graphics in the new trailer look just as good as they did before. Really impressive, but we all know Kojima brings the goods when it comes to visuals.
But the MGS series always has good graphics, designs, characters, and gameplay. That's why the horrible, cheesy stories and dialogue piss me off so much.
Anyone notice the ED-209 (Robocop) homage when the mech chasing Snake flips over? :)
Raiden's still a fag, BTW. His fight with the mechs was cool at first, but as it went on (and on and on) it started getting a little too over the top. Once Raiden started fucking breakdancing my eyes just kinda glazed over. Retarded.
