Which reminds me is a far stupider idea then a tank with rockets. Bipeds are a no-no, spider walkers are superior.

Congratulations, it neither proves nor disproves either one of us (plus I think its technical term is Treading Behemoth or something and they don't list that either). How is the nuclear equipped tank not a nuclear equipped tank, because that's all the name Metal Gear implies (although even that is becoming a moot point in MGS4)? It wasn't referred to as such because the brand name itself was created by a different group but I don't see how that makes it not one. Please explain. Hell, the front of it which gets broken off even looks just like MG Rex.

If I'm wrong and there's some specific reason why it should not be classified as a MG then please tell, because just saying "Nuh-uh, it's not exactly labelled for such because of reasons that are obvious no matter whether or not it's really one," doesn't prove anything.

It's not a Metal Gear because it doesn't have legs. Yes, that's the difference. Yes, they do talk about it IN GAME. Granin himself, who designed the REAL first Metal Gear, outlines the whole thing. His design was overlooked for Sokolov's Shagohod. There, that's your proof.

I forgot about the other team, so I was wrong about that.

Although your proof as to why it's not a Metal Gear is incorrect (even if it was provided by the game) because Arsenal doesn't have legs either.

Arsenal isn't a Metal Gear though...It's an Arsenal Gear; something that is specifically designed to transport other Metal Gears.

I thought they were supposed to sound more like bulls, but you're right in the trailer it does sound coowish. Maybe they use cow brains as the base for the genetic manipulation of the organic A.I.?
