For what it's worth, the Medicom RAH doll also appeared at the toy show this appeared at, and the head sculpt looks a bit different than it did in the pics we already saw. Assuming it's not altered, the camera angles make a difference. Still, this statue looks way better. I'm quite optimistic about all of this.

BTW, Venom beter get more than 10 minutes of screen time or I'm gonna be pissed, because this movie is going to have to be really fucking long to fit in everything. I mean, look at what we know so far:
Pete and MJ's relationship, Pete and Gwen Stacy's relationship
The origin of the alien Symbiote
Spiderman suddenly being praised as a hero, getting the alien costume, fighting his evil urges, fighting Sandman, getting rid of the costume
Harry Osborn's whole deal with becoming Goblin 2 (or whatever he is) and going after Spidey
Sandman's backstory, getting his powers, being revealed as Uncle Ben's killer
Eddie Brock's backstory, his conflict with Parker, his relationship with Gwen Stacy, turning into Venom
A bunch of fight scenes
Pete discovering Aunt May is a hooker
That's a lot of shit to cram into a 2 1/2 hour movie.

i thought its been long rumored that this movies focus isnt Venom (i.e. he's not the MAIN protagonist) and that the 4th movie will be more for him.
Naw. The word has always been Venom near end, and Eddie will lose the symbiote. The symbiote can very well make another appearance, but no word yet on if Venom can make another appearance.
Yeah, Im really doubting Raimi is going to be focusing on Venom much at all in this movie. Like Dolemite listed, its just too much to squash in to a 2 hour flick. And no way is he going to sacrifice character development for a whole bunch of Venom vs. Spidey fight and conflict scenes.....although part of me kind of wishes he would :sweat:
