That's a little scary. This is likely indicative of some evnironmental catastrophe that we have no knowledge of. 500 large squid don't just up and die and wash up onto shore. Those things are old, and they live deep, and they're stable.
Then there's this kid, who washed up in a Brazilian hospital. Poor mother. Can you imagine trying to walk around with that?
