A plow came down our street yesterday in the middle of the storm and that was that. The major roads are clear enough that you don't have to worry about sliding too much, but there's no fucking excuse for it, it hasn't been snowing for almost 24 hours and the roads are still shit and there's still no salt down. Combined with our horrible state level facilities, the fact that people were still voting here the day after the election due to horrible voter assignments, the mismanagement of funds involving roads being maintained and paved and the horrible funding and management of our snow management, I think I will definately be contacting my local and state representives sometime this week.

All that snow is UGLY.
We've got so much snow here it's not funny. Around Christmas, I lost the electricity for 12 hours- and there were some people who went without it for days. Screw Ohio. I may consider a move to Carlsbad, CA someday.
I'd take sun and warm weather year round- even 90 degrees with 85 percent humidity (which is a 117.5 degree heat index) is better than this, even though I prefer for it to be in the 60s-70s. The snow and cold can go back to Hell from where it came.
