*prepare for a tangent.
The "UE" is often why stuff doesn't stay long or don't get permits at all in the towns outside of Houston (the places with actual zoneing). Things like public transportation, strip clubs, bars (ones that do not actually sell lunch an dinner, pub food nonwithstanding), pawn/bail bonds shops, music stores that don't sell instruments for high school bands/orchestras (did a check on this, you can sell guitars and drum sets and PAs and the like, but you must stock brass, woodwind and string instruments as well in the city of Sugar Land where I work), tobbacco stores (there IS one in Sugar Land, but it's exclusively for Cigars), and even some videogame stores (Middle Earth Gaming, a 24 hr LAN arcade) are the kinds that don't get licence or are pushed out by community based organizations deeming them "Unattractive Elements". Establishments or services like this must move further up interstate 59 into Stafford or Houston. Fun fact, Tom DeLay is a part of SL's community planning organization. Sugar Land is his nest.
I personally hate it.
Bring back some goodies and sell it to us.Quote:

Steal everything you can, and put that shit on the internet.

Just filed. Thanks! Now, I wonder how long it is before I get money. And, what did you have to do, go on interviews and send them letters or something every week?Quote:

And I'll bet they expect each of those stores to get 10 GT4 reservations per day, don't they?Quote:

When I was unemployed in New York, I had to file every week, but in your case, you file every two weeks. The online implementation of filing unemployment claims is one of the greatest things ever, because you don't have to go to an office to pick up a check. Just verify online that you didn't work and they'll mail you a check. Whatever you do, DON'T FORGET TO FILE before the deadline. Or else, you'll be asking for it.Quote:

I'm not really sure about how Maryland handles unemployment insurance since I've only been unemployed in New York. The webpage I showed you should tell you everything you need to know.
I wonder if I can get any food stamps out of this. :)
