Castlevania: The Belmont Legacy

IDW once again adapted one of Konami's property as a comic book. This time it's Castlevania.

I don't have much faith in this one (I haven't read the Silent Hill one, but their MGS series sucked big time). I'm surprised that they choosed to based it on Castlevania Adventure of all the games in the series.

The Silent Hill comic sucked. The MGS sucked. This will suck as well.

It's not clear to me from the link when this sucker is being released. Can anyone help me out with that?

Simon Belmont was AWESOME in "Captain N the Game Master". The comic should be based on THAT character.

EDIT: Still, I do think Simon deserves credit for starting the whole 'gay fashion makeover' trend. I mean, he turned Alucard from this:

The silent hill series was good - both comics series. The first issue of the first SH comic series was shakey but it improved big time from there. I liked it alot. There is so many different stories that could be told in the silent hill world, and these comics are proof.
The metal gear comic is all about ashley wood's art but even that wont make me spend $4+ an issue, because its the same dialouge as the games.
I will buy this castlevania book to see how it is.
