I've never listened to this show but I thought seeing the progression of one's downfall might prove amusing for some of you guys. Also keep in mind that the last morning crew Hot97 had was fired for making fun of singer Aliyah's death by playing plane crash and screaming sounds during the announcement.

Shit that station's not "The Wake Up Show." Oh well. Apparently it's been played on 97 as well.

What's funny is that the afternoon guy here in LA on 97.1 has this thing where he "takes" the caller "out" with a requested sound effect. So someone will say, "Take me out JFK Jr. style," and before introducing the next caller the guy plays the sound effect of a plane crashing into the sea. Been doing it for years.

They are playing the song on Opie and Anthony over and over. Not because it is funny, but because it is funny how poorly done the song is. Whoever made this peice of trash should be ashamed not for the content, but for how bad they are at making song parodies.
