This is quite possibly the fastest damned racing game I've ever played.
I'm doing a license test that requires a super fast time on the Nurb. Burnout, F-Zero GX, Wipeout 3...they're all super fast, but nothing comes close to the pure sense of speed and frailty that comes with flying down the Nurb at 350kmph.
the head to head for forza and gt4 on ign said forza is even faster than gt4. so take that as you will. im picking up both.
I would be quite shocked if that were true.
I saw the TV ad for GT 4 during Raw, and it looked pretty fast. Of course, that was with the replay stuff being used instead of in-game fooage, so who knows.

They're worth having if you put a lot of hours into the game and you want to study your play to find holes in your technique. I save replays all the time in games like VF4 and SF3:3s to watch later and go "WTF I'm such an idiot!!"; racing games benefit from this too.Quote:

Forza must have gotten faster since the demo, then. Not that it was slow, but it wasn't exactly fast.
