The good thing about plot isomorphs are that if you change the context and content it seems like a completely different story. There are a shit load of stories in Futurama which are identical, like the "delivering to a dangerous planet and escaping" one that was used atleast 4 times a season, but you don't really notice unless you really analyse them a little too much.

But a story set with characters that deliver stuff and go on whacky adventures is bound to have this kind of material, it's the basis of the show.
