If this ends up happening, I'll be in heaven. I'm sure Oakley and Weinstein will want to do some commentaries for it

I remember this show. It fucking sucked. (no offense if it was your favorite show or whatever)
Dilbert, Oblongs, Clerks, PJs, Family Guy, etc. Anything animated and not named "Simpsons" will never work in Prime Time.
And that's one reason it bombed completely when it was first done. Now, it's got a bit of a cult following thanks to the AS runs. There's some great humor to be had in it, and some great sound bytes as well.Quote:

I love Mission Hill. It is probably my favorite animated show on Adult Swim excluding Family Guy and maybe Futurama. I've been waiting for a DVD release. Hopefully the sales of the DVD do good more than expected in hopes of maybe a new season being made.
Eh, it's been out of production for far too long to that really happen. Plus, with it being reliant on traditional cel animation, it might not work as a digital show, which is what it would really need to be if it was in production now. Most of the folks have moved on to other things, although Lord knows Oakley and Weinstein deserve to do something good again, the Mullets...ugh. I hope they put the finished recorded episoded, that never got animated, on the DVD set.
Mission Hill had oodles of potential, really.
sucks that there are, what? A total of 6 episodes?
Does Adult swim count as prime time in your little tirade? If so the Venture Brothers pwn the last 6 years of the simpsons combined.Quote:

Mission Hill is, and always has been, the funniest show to ever air on Adult Swim.
I am very pleased by this DVD news.
I really like the theme song for some reason. Really catchy. I like MH quite a bit. Good to watch when you have some time to kill. I like the different art style too.
