DDRMAX Headed For US!

The recent Japanese release of Dance Dance Revolution 6th Mix is coming to the US.

Konami has announced plans to bring Dance Dance Revolution to the PlayStation 2. The game will be at least partially based on DDR 6th Mix, which was recently released on the PS2 in Japan. No word on if the game will be identical to its Japanese counterpart, but it will contain over 65 songs, including international dance hits and licensed music. It will also contain the diet mode and step edit mode from previous versions of the game.
The game is scheduled to ship in November. More on DDRMAX as it becomes available.

It seems Konamix got the job done!

Hopefully it will be most or all of Max, and not 1/2 Max and 1/2 Americanized liscensed pop crap.

Regardless though, I would like to thank Konami for bringing DDR to America, and continuing to support the series in both Japan and the US.

At least we are getting more version albeit DDR MAX...Any chance they would include some MAX 2 songs like Waka Laka or any of the new MAX 2 modes? Oh well, they better keep in Witch Doctor and So Deep.

It sure seems like Konami is waking up regarding the DDR franchise.
If it's got the complete MAX lineup along with some extra licensed tracks, that'll be fine.

Well, I got my Japanese version of DDRMAX today.

I don't like it.

DDR Extra Mix for PSOne is the best version still.

ShinMYK is a freak, don't trust him, he has no fingers.

I just got home from Korly's and I'm with him on this one... I like Konamix better than Max...but here's hoping they put some neat stuff on the US release.
